Current Wiring Problems:
- Loose crimps can cause poor, inconsistent connections.
- Wire nuts are an absolute no-no for marine use (literally forbidden by the American Boat and Yacht Council).
- Connection joints that aren't insulated well will corrode over time
- A small cut in wiring can cause an entire section of wire to be replaced and re-wired.
- A marine electrician or installer can take a lot of time and money.
One of the leading causes of lights and accessories to malfunction on a boat is due to wiring - and these problems seem to expose themselves in the least opportune times.

The building block wire harness is compatible with Swamp Eye® HD Lights and our Swamp Eye® Gen2X Light Bars. As we release new products and add more functionality to our Bowfishing Lights, we will continue to use the building block wire harness to make lights easy to connect and run together.
Building Block Wire Harness
The building block wire harness consists of control leads and power leads. The control leads include a control dial, tee connector, control dial extension lead, and a foot control switch. The power leads have two sizing options: single light use and up to 6 lights at a time use. The difference in these is one wire will run 1 light while the other option is sized to supply power to up to 6 lights (larger AWG wire). The power leads include power cord extension leads, power cord leads with battery terminals, and a power cord junction hook up.
Control Leads
Control Dial
- Turns lights on and off instantaneously, adjusts color of lights from warm white (2000k) to cool white (6000k) and anywhere in-between.
- Universal mounting with option of using 3M adhesive backing and/or screw/rivet tabs.

Tee Connector for Control Lead
- Serves as connection point to hook lights into, allowing users to control multiple lights on 1 single dial.
- We recommend purchasing one less tee connector than the total number of Swamp Eye® HD Lights or Swamp Eye® Gen2X Light Bars you have.

Here are 3 examples, showing some of the most common wiring setup options:
Example 1 - ALL ON 1 DIAL
- If you have 8 lights and want to run them on 1 dial, you will need 7 tee connectors.
- The 7th (last) tee connector will have two lights connected to it.
- This saves you from buying one extra tee connector and also ensures there are no open plugs.
- If you have 8 lights and want to run the left side on one dial, the right side on another dial (split 4 and 4), you will need 3 tee connectors for the left side and 3 tee connectors for the right side.
- The 3rd tee connector on each side will have two lights plugged into it.
- You will need a total of 6 tee connectors for this setup.
- If you have 6 lights in the front of the boat you want to run on 1 dial and 2 lights in the rear of the boat you want to run on 1 dial, then you will need 5 tees for the front and 1 tee in the back.
- A total of 6 tees for this setup.
Control Dial Extension Lead
- Currently available in 28-inch sections with water-tight injection molded plugs on each end of the marine grade insulated wire.
- Can be used for extending the length of wire on a control dial or for going between tee connectors to space lights apart.
- Generally speaking, most boats require one control dial extension lead for each light. This allows you to mount your lights approx. 28 inches apart from each other.

Foot Control Switch
- Ideal for bowfishing light sensitive fish.
- Instantaneously turns lights on when foot switch is pressed, lights turn off as soon as foot switch is released.
- Has memory, so color temperature setting the lights are set to will stay the same.
- The tee connector that comes with the foot control switch is unique to the foot control switch only and cannot be used anywhere else in the building block wire harness. (the control dial is not included, you can use the control dial that comes with your lights)

Bluetooth Controller for OutriggerGO App
- Allows wireless control of your lights utilizing the OutriggerGO App.
- The control dial that comes with the lights can only do so much, this bluetooth controller allows hundreds of different control options to custom tailor your lights to any water conditions or water clarities.
- A few of the many options include setting your lights up on banks to control certain lights together or separately, increasing or decreasing the brightness of your lights, 9 quick select color temperature options for clear or muddy water as well as a gradual adjustment color wheel for even more options, the ability to strobe your lights and control the intensity of the strobe, and many more.

Power Leads
Power Cord Trunk Line Lead (Support Up to 30 Amps)
- Available in 38-inch lengths, available in two sizes: single light or up to 6 lights.
- Single Light Power Lead Option - sized to supply power to one single light.
- Up to 30 Amp Light Power Lead Option - sized to supply power for up to 30 Amps worth of Lights. If running on 24V DC, this equates to 4x Swamp Eye HD's or 6x Swamp Eye Gen 2.X Light Bars, or 10x Swamp Eye Silent Series Lights.
- The difference in the two power lead options is the AWG of the wire.
- Do NOT attempt to power more than one light with the single power lead option and do NOT attempt to power more than 6 lights with the Up to 6 Light Power Lead Option.

Power Cord Lead with Trunk Line Battery Terminals (Supports Up to 30 Amps)

- Single Light Power Lead with Battery Terminals Option - sized to supply power to one single light on battery.
- Up to 30 Amp Light Power Lead Option - sized to supply power for up to 30 Amps worth of Lights. If running on 24V DC, this equates to 4x Swamp Eye HD's or 6x Swamp Eye Gen 2.X Light Bars, or 10x Swamp Eye Silent Series Lights.
- The difference in the two power lead battery terminal options is the AWG of the wire.
- Do NOT attempt to power more than one light with the single power lead option and do NOT attempt to power more than 30 amps worth of lights with the trunk line option.

Tee Connector for Power Cord Trunk Line (Supports Up to 30 Amps)
- Serves as connection point to run up to 30 amps in lights on one main power cord lead trunk line wire.
- Helps clean up wiring by having one main power lead running to multiple lights instead of having a bunch of individual power leads.
- Sized to power no more than 30 Amps of Swamp Eye® HD Lights, Swamp Eye® Gen2X Light Bars, or Swamp Eye Silent Series Lights.
- If running on 24V DC, 30 amps equates to 4x Swamp Eye HD's or 6x Swamp Eye Gen 2.X Light Bars, or 10x Swamp Eye Silent Series Lights.
- If you need to power more lights, we recommend splitting the lights on different sets of main power leads.

Example - 6 Light Setup
Use 5 tee connectors for power cord, the 5th tee connector will have one light plugged into the bottom individual light plug and then will need a transition lead to allow another light to plug into the large trunk line plug. -
Example - 8 Light Setup
Split the lights 4 and 4 or 6 and 2 or any other combination so there are no more than 6 lights connected together on one main power lead. -
Example - 12 Light Setup
Split the lights 6 and 6 so there are 2 main power leads and a total of 10 tee connectors for power cord. - Here's the tee connector for power cord trunk line product page.
Power Cord Junction Hook Up
- Serves as a connection point to plug up to 6 power supplies into to supply power to up to 6 lights. This allows you to mount your power supplies in a concealed place under your deck and only have 1 single power wire to run to your lights.
- Sized to power no more than 30 amps worth of light, and a maximum of 6 lights total. Compatible with Swamp Eye® HD Lights, Swamp Eye® Gen2X Light Bars, and Swamp Eye® Silent Series Lights.
- If running on 24V DC, 30 amps equates to 4x Swamp Eye HD's or 6x Swamp Eye Gen 2.X Light Bars, or 10x Swamp Eye Silent Series Lights.

Hi Brice – yes you can run 2x Swamp Eye Gen 2X Light Bars on 1 dial. All you need is a tee connector to do so. If you want to spread them out, you can use control dial extension leads. If you want to use the foot controller, then you can do that as well but it is not needed to control them on 1 dial. That’s only for controlling them via foot control. As far as the power leads, those are independent of the control leads. The power leads have no effect on whether or not the lights are run on 1 single dial. Hey I was just wondering if I am able to run 2 swamp gen2x on one dial? I just have to purchase the power leads and foot controller?
