Shipping Policy

FREE 2 DAY SHIPPING: The term 2 day shipping refers to the shipping service we select through the shipping carriers we utilize. We have been told the actual delivery time of 2 day shipping can vary from 1 to 3 business days, depending on where you are located within the carriers supply chain system. In some circumstances, the shipping carrier may be overwhelmed with packages and may not deliver within the 1 to 3 business day timeframe. In the event this happens, Outrigger Outdoors will do its best to help the customer track the shipment down but is not responsible for any costs associated with redirecting or intercepting a package. Outrigger Outdoors will be glad to help the customer contact the shipping company and settle any disputes related to shipping. Outrigger Outdoors will not be held responsible for any delays related to the shipping carrier.

DAMAGES AND LOST ITEMS DURING SHIPPING: Outrigger Outdoors will aid customer in all situations where a package was damaged or lost during shipping. We strongly recommend all customers purchase Shipping Insurance for their order. Shipping Insurance acts as insurance for each shipment, to guarantee the item is not lost in transit or damaged in transit. In the event the item is lost or damaged, a refund will be given or a new replacement will be sent. If you do not purchase Shipping Insurance, you may be subject to the wait times and judgement of the shipping carrier as to whether or not the package will be refunded or replaced. Flounder Gig Poles are among the highest risk item to be lost or damaged during shipping due to the size of the item. We strongly recommend customers purchase Shipping Insurance for this item in particular, but recommend purchasing it for all items. 

ORDER PROCESSING TIME: Outrigger Outdoors will do its best to put the package in the hands of the shipping carrier as soon as possible. In most instances, Outrigger Outdoors is able to ship the package same day. In some other instances (such as orders placed later on in the day), Outrigger Outdoors may send the package the next day. Outrigger Outdoors will guarantee the package is in possession of the shipping carrier within 1-2 business days unless otherwise stated on a product page or email. 

If you need to guarantee the delivery of a package for next day or even 2 day, we recommend you contact us directly for a specialty shipping quote through UPS. Next Day Air, Next Day Air Saver, and 2 Day Air Delivery through UPS are all available at extra cost. These are the only methods we can guarantee a 2 day or less delivery time. 

INCORRECT ADDRESS: The shipping address that is put on the shipping label comes directly from the address the customer inputted at checkout. If there are any typos or incorrect address information, Outrigger Outdoors is not responsible for improper delivery or any costs associated with improper delivery. This includes re-routing a package, intercepting a package, or replacement of the package. If the item is returned to Outrigger Outdoors, the product will be subject to our standard restocking fee OR re-shipped at the cost of the purchaser. 


ABOUT CUSTOMS, DUTIES, AND TAXES: When ordering from Outrigger Outdoors, you’re responsible for assuring the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country.

The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders shipped outside of the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient’s country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and can’t predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for more information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.

Return Policy

30 DAY RETURN POLICY: All eligible purchases made through our website do not require a receipt for return, but must be in brand new and unused condition. If eligible for a return, the value of the product including any applicable sales tax will be refunded, minus any shipping costs or fees that are not refundable to us (Example: PayPal will no longer refund their processing fee) and are associated with the purchase. Returned products may be subject to a restocking fee ranging from 20% to 30%, depending on actual cost of shipping and credit card processing (these two costs are not refundable to us).  If purchase was made through a third party vendor such as Amazon, eBay, or any other online or brick and mortar store, please return the product directly to them. All sales of Swamp Eye Submersible Lights, Swamp Eye Light Bars, Swamp Eye HD Lights, Predator Cannon Light Bars and Underwater Fishing Lights are final and are under warranty from the date of purchase. All sales of customized orders are final. Please see the Warranty Information section for additional information. CANCELLED ORDERS: When you place your order, your credit card is run and we are charged a NON-REFUNDABLE fee from your credit card company. This fee is NOT REFUNDABLE to us. We are happy to give you a gift card in the full amount of the transaction or we will refund you and deduct the credit card fee. We are not out to get anyone with this policy, we are just a small business trying to protect ourselves. 

Warranties and Refunds

LIFETIME NO QUESTIONS ASKED WARRANTY: Effective January 1, 2019 Outrigger Outdoors offers a lifetime "no questions asked" warranty on all products, subject to the limitations set forth herein. This warranty applies to manufacturer defects past one year or customer-inflicted damage, at any time, which causes the product to improperly function. A receipt is required as proof of purchase and photos of the damaged product are also required. We may request you to return the damaged product to us. When warranty is successfully claimed, we will replace the product for 50% of the MSRP value. This is our way of protecting your investment for a lifetime. 

Effective January 1, 2019 Outrigger Outdoors warrants our product to be free from original defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of original retail purchase, subject to the limitations set forth herein. This warranty applies only to the original retail purchaser and requires the purchaser to supply a copy of the original proof of purchase (original sales receipt) at the time warranty service is requested. If the purchaser purchased their product directly through our website, Outrigger Outdoors, there is no additional warranty registration required. However, if the purchaser purchased their product through a third party vendor such as but not limited to eBay, Amazon, or any other brick and mortar or online retail stores, they must register their product with us within 30 days of purchase. A receipt is required as proof of purchase.

WHEN FILING FOR WARRANTY: Please include a complete description of the problem, your name, address, telephone number, and a copy of the original proof of purchase. All transportation, insurance and freight charges associated with warranty service and repairs are the responsibility of the purchaser. If an original defect is found by us, we will, at our option, repair, replace or make appropriate adjustment.

The Manufacturer Warranty does not apply to: (a) asserted defects caused by normal wear and tear; (b) asserted defects caused by modifications, unauthorized service, accidents, neglect, misuse, abuse, improper maintenance, acts of Nature; (c) asserted defects involving subjective personal likes or judgements; (d) asserted defects due to water damage.

Should the defects not be deemed to meet Warranty requirements, Outrigger Outdoors will charge a reasonable repair or replacement charge not to exceed 50% of the manufacturer’s suggested retail purchase price. Outrigger Outdoors guarantees they will make their best effort to repair all customers’ products for the most minimal amount possible, if not at free of charge.
