Important: Due to shipping limitations, 6 ft is the maximum length that can ship assembled. The 12 ft pole ships as two 6 ft sections and must be assembled by the customer. Assembly is quick and easy.

Does this include a flounder gig head?
No. The flounder gig head is sold separately.

What’s the difference between the 6 ft and 12 ft pole?
The 6 ft pole is a single aluminum section. The 12 ft pole consists of two 6 ft poles that thread together using an aluminum coupling.

Why doesn’t the 12 ft pole ship assembled?
Shipping carriers cannot transport poles longer than 6 ft on conveyor systems. For this reason, the 12 ft pole ships unassembled.

Can I measure fish with this pole?
Yes—when paired with the optional Heatshrink Ruler, the pole becomes a measuring stick capable of measuring fish up to 36 inches.

Is shipping insured?
Due to the size of this item, we strongly recommend selecting shipping insurance at checkout. Large items are more prone to delays during hand transport.

Is this item returnable?
No. Due to shipping size and cost, all sales of this item are final.

Will this ship quickly?
Yes. We pride ourselves on shipping orders within 1 business day. However, once the package leaves our facility, delivery timing is controlled by the shipping carrier.

Because this item is large and awkwardly sized, it is typically hand-transported rather than run through automated conveyor systems. As a result, delivery can take longer than smaller packages, and tracking updates may appear less frequently, since scans rely on manual handling rather than automated checkpoints.
