The Power Cord Trunk Line Lead serves as a Main Trunk Line to connect multiple lights together on one main power source (battery, for example) and is another piece of the building block power wire harness. This power cord lead is designed to support up to 30 amps and is compatible with the lights listed below on one main power wire as long as the lights are being run on 24V DC or they are using our power supplies.

Enjoy frustration free wiring with these injection molded, plug and play connections.

TO CONNECT THE POWER LEADS OF YOUR LIGHTS TOGETHER AND  BUILD A PLUG AND PLAY POWER WIRE TRUNK LINE, YOU WILL NEED THESE COMPONENTS:

You can find the Power Trunk Line Light Kits here for our most popular setups.

You cannot connect more than 30 amps of lights to a trunk line. This equates to a maximum of 4x Swamp Eye HDs, 6x Swamp Eye Gen 2.X Light Bars, or 10x Swamp Eye Silent Series Lights if they are running on 24V DC. If you have more lights than this, you will have to build multiple trunk lines.

Power Cord Lead is compatible with:

End to End Length: 38 inches

Here's a Complete Guide to Building Block Wire Harness to learn more about the different components and how they operate our lights, and ultimately make wiring a breeze.

Recommended Setup

If purchasing multiple 160W Swamp Eye Bowfishing Lights, Swamp Eye Gen 2.X Light Bars, Swamp Eye Silent Series Lights or Above Water Green Fishing lights and you wish to power multiple lights by one main power wire, this setup will work perfectly for you. You will also need to power cord tee connectors to go from one light to the next on your main power lead.

To determine how many of each component you need, please substitute the letter "X" for the number of lights you are wanting to put on a trunk line:

Tee Connector for Power Cord Trunk Line (Support Up to 30 Amps)

X - 1 = Total # of Tee Connectors Needed

Example for 4 Lights: You will Need 4 - 1 = 3 Tee Connectors

Power Cord Trunk Line Lead (Supports Up to 30 Amps)

X = # of Power Cord Trunk Line Leads Needed

Example for 4 Lights: You will need 4 Power Cord Trunk Line Leads
**We recommend one lead in-between each Tee so you can space them out. If your lights are closer than 8" apart, then you do not have to purchase these.

Transition Lead - Trunk Line Plug to Individual Light Plug (Supports Up to 30 Amps)

You will need 1 Transition Lead per Trunk Line. This lead will go on your last tee connector, to allow you to connect 2x Lights directly to that tee connector.

WHERE DID THE IDEA COME FROM?

The Swamp Eye Bowfishing Lights are the first purpose-built color tone adjustable bowfishing lights. The most common complaint we had early on in our business was related to the wire harnesses. We have since made our wire harness, and wiring in general, a breeze.

In the old days, customers would request us to set up multiple lights to be controlled by one single dial, which would require us to permanently solder leads together. Once this is done, it is a permanent setup and if the customer changes their mind to have 4 lights controlled by one dial and 2 lights by another dial instead of having all 6 lights controlled by one dial, they would have to send the wire harness back to us and we would have to re-customize the harness. It took a lot of time and was frustrating for both us and the customer.

The solution to this problem is our all-new building block wiring harness. It is made to fit our 160W Swamp Eye Bowfishing Lights, Swamp Eye Light Bar GEN 2.X, Above Water Green Fishing Lights, Swamp Eye Silent Series Lights and all future lights will be compatible with it as well.

About the Building Block Wire Harness

The Building Block Wire Harness allows you to utilize the waterproof plug-and-play connections to control and power multiple lights with one single control lead and one single power lead without any soldering or permanent customizations.

If you wish to control 6 lights on one dial tonight, you can do that. If you want to power them on one single lead, you can do that as well. If throughout the night you realize the right side of the boat is closer to the shore and in muddy water while the left side of the boat is in deeper, clearer waters, and you want to set the two sides to different color tones for better visibility, you can literally do that on the fly. Just unplug one set of lights from the dial and plug them into another control dial.
