The biggest OutriggerGo update yet is now available for iPhone.
OutriggerGo has been rebuilt around the way you actually use your lights—in the boat, in the field, and while preparing for the next trip. The updated iPhone app gives you one clear place to build your lighting system, connect each Bluetooth controller, control one bank or your entire rig, check upcoming conditions, save important locations, and get help when you need it.
This is more than a new look. The October 2026 update turns OutriggerGo from a lighting remote into a complete control and trip-planning companion for compatible Outrigger Outdoors products.
The October 2026 update is currently available for iPhone. The Android version is still in development and will be released separately.

A Faster, Clearer Setup Process
The first time you open the updated iPhone app, you begin by choosing the system you want to set up: Swamp Eye, Predator Cannon, or DuraNav. From there, the app guides you through building your rig one bank at a time.
In OutriggerGo, a bank is a group of lights connected to one Bluetooth controller. You can name each bank by location or purpose—such as Front, Back, Port, Starboard, Rock Lights, or Interior—then choose the exact light family and record how many lights are connected to that controller.
You can build and name your banks before the controllers are nearby, then connect them later. When you are ready to pair:
- Power on the lighting system and controller for that bank.
- Tap Connect a controller.
- Choose the nearby device whose name begins with Swamp.
- Repeat the process for each controller in your system.
- Tap Done to return to the Control dashboard.
The updated iPhone app can organize up to 10 named banks in one rig. Bank names, light types, light counts, and controller assignments are saved on your iPhone, so your setup is ready the next time you open the app.
Setup tip: One Bluetooth controller equals one bank. The light count helps identify and organize the bank; commands are sent to the controller assigned to that bank.
See Your Entire Lighting System at a Glance
The new Control dashboard makes it much easier to understand what is happening across a multi-controller rig.
Each bank card shows its:
- Bank name
- Light family
- Number of lights
- Connection status
- Current power status
Select a single bank when you want focused control without changing another part of the boat or vehicle. Select All banks when you want to operate the full compatible setup together.
If your rig contains different light families, OutriggerGo keeps common all-bank actions simple. For controls that only apply to a particular fixture—such as RGB color or red/white balance—the app asks you to choose the appropriate bank.
This is especially useful on larger installations. You can immediately see which controller is online, which bank is selected, and where a connection needs attention instead of guessing which device you are controlling.
Controls That Match the Lights You Own
Different lights are designed for different jobs, so the new OutriggerGo update does not treat every fixture the same. The controls change based on the light family assigned to the selected bank.
Swamp Eye and Tunable-White Lights
Adjust brightness from 0–100% and tune supported white output from a warm 2000K to a cool 6000K.
Warmer settings can help manage glare and reflection in certain water conditions, while cooler settings provide a crisp white appearance. The updated brightness scale is calibrated to provide more useful control through the visible operating range of compatible lights.
Predator Cannon
Predator Cannon banks receive controls designed for red/white hunting output, including brightness and balance adjustments.
This makes it easier to move between the output you need for scanning, visibility, and the conditions in front of you.
DuraNav Rock Lights
DuraNav Rock Lights receive full RGB color control along with brightness, Quick Selections, flash capability, and Music Sync.
Choose a color for steady output, save your favorites, or let selected banks react to nearby music.
DuraNav Duck Boat Lights
DuraNav Duck Boat Lights receive power, brightness, and white-output controls matched to their hardware. They can also participate in Music Sync while preserving their selected white balance.
Compatible families include Swamp Eye HD, Silent Series, Predator Cannon, DuraNav Rock Lights, and DuraNav Duck Boat Lights. Compatibility can vary by controller and wiring setup, so select the actual fixture connected to each bank.
Calibrated 0–100% Brightness
Brightness now uses a simple 0–100% scale across supported light families.
Setting the slider to zero sends a true off command. Moving above zero powers the selected bank and applies the requested output.
Some high-output fixtures have a hardware-dependent cutoff at the bottom of their operating range. OutriggerGo calibrates supported families so the nonzero settings remain useful instead of leaving you with a section of the slider where the light appears off. DuraNav Rock Lights retain direct RGB dimming.
Save Your Favorite Settings with Quick Selections
Once you find a combination that works, you should not have to rebuild it every trip.
Quick Selections let you save commonly used brightness, color-temperature, red/white, or RGB settings—depending on the selected light family—and recall them with a tap.
You might save one setting for muddy water, another for clear water, one for running, one for docking, or several favorite Rock Light colors. Quick Selections remain saved on your iPhone with the rest of your rig preferences.
Visibility / Silver Carp Flash
The updated app includes Visibility / Silver Carp Flash for supported light families, with Slow, Medium, and Fast rates.
A clear warning appears before the effect begins, and a prominent Stop control remains available while it is running. Stopping the effect returns supported lights to their previous output.
For safety, OutriggerGo also stops active effects if the app moves to the background or loses the required Bluetooth connection.
Use flashing lights responsibly. Warn everyone nearby, avoid looking directly into the fixtures, consider photosensitivity risks, and follow tournament rules and local requirements.
Music Sync for DuraNav Rock Lights and Duck Boat Lights
Music Sync lets selected DuraNav Rock Light and Duck Boat Light banks react to nearby music—including music playing through an external boat speaker.
DuraNav Rock Lights pulse through a color palette as the music changes. DuraNav Duck Boat Lights preserve their chosen white balance while pulsing their brightness.
You choose exactly which connected banks participate, so the rest of the rig remains unchanged.
Music Sync begins only when you start it. OutriggerGo uses the iPhone microphone to measure nearby audio levels on the device; it does not record, save, or transmit the audio.
Pressing Stop returns supported lights to their previous state. Music Sync also shuts down if the app moves to the background or a selected controller disconnects.
Weather Built Around Fishing and Hunting Trips
OutriggerGo now helps you plan the trip before you switch on the lights.
The Weather tab includes separate Fishing and Hunting views and turns the local forecast into a practical look at upcoming conditions.
You can review:
- Wind and gusts
- Chance of rain
- Apparent temperature
- Visibility
- Pressure trends
- Sunrise and sunset
- Hourly conditions
- A five-day outlook
- The most favorable upcoming three-hour weather window
The trip outlook is based on forecast conditions; it is not a prediction of fish or game activity. Always check current conditions and make the final call based on your location, equipment, and experience.
Save Fishing and Hunting Spots
The new Spots tab lets you save your current location as a Fishing or Hunting spot, give it a recognizable name, and open it later in Apple Maps.
Saved Spots stay on your iPhone. They provide a simple way to remember a launch, access point, productive area, or place you want to revisit.
Saved Spots are not a substitute for a dedicated marine navigation system or safe on-water navigation.
More Reliable Bluetooth Reconnection
OutriggerGo remembers the controller assigned to each bank and can reconnect saved controllers when you reopen the app.
Clear Online, Connecting, Offline, and Not Paired states make it easier to understand what is happening.
If a controller is out of range or powered off, the app keeps that status visible and gives you a direct way to reconnect or pair a different controller. Unexpected disconnects receive automatic retry attempts, while active output effects shut down safely when the required connection is lost.
Help When You Need It
A new AI Tech Support · 24/7 option provides immediate help with common questions about:
- Initial setup
